Dilemmaer i norsk utenrikspolitikk

In a rapidly changing world, Norwegian foreign policy decision-makers will routinely encounter dilemmas, where the consequences of different choices must be weighed against each other: Petroleum giant or green beacon? Loyal ally of the US or principled multinational on the global stage? Integrated into Europe or self-governing abroad? In this book, leading Norwegian researchers challenge current Norwegian foreign policy and outline a new policy for a new era. The authors first outline the current situation in various policy fields, such as security, trade, the High North, climate and energy, aid and development, peace and reconciliation engagement, the international legal order, and Norway's policy towards the EU and Russia. They then present the dilemmas Norway faces in the various areas, before giving their input on how these dilemmas should be handled in the years to come.
